Our Clear Skin laser treatment is a walk-in, walk-out treatment. The treatment ranges between 20 – 30 minutes and has no downtime.
Prior to your laser treatment, we recommend that you meet with one of our skin practitioners to identify your skin concerns and recommend a treatment plan tailored to your needs.
Our practitioners will ensure your skin is cleansed and properly prepared before the laser treatment begins. This step is taken to clear the surface of the skin of any remaining oil, makeup or sunscreen, allowing the laser treatment to penetrate deeper into the pores.
The Clear Skin laser treatment works by sending specific wavelengths of concentrated light directly to the skin. The system, which will be controlled by one of La Sante’s experienced practitioners, is specially designed to combat skin concerns, including excess sebum, dead skin cells, and bacteria.
Our laser treatment is non-ablative, which means that it heats up the tissue, but does not destroy it. The Clear Skin laser treatment is a relatively painless procedure. The feeling is described as a slight pinch and the device is equipped with a cooling mechanism to reduce pain and redness.
As the lasers’ concentrated light hits the skin, the acne will be targeted, stimulating blood circulation which will result in cellular renewal.
Once the laser treatment is complete, the area will be treated with a protective aftercare balm to help minimise redness and irritation.
Before your Clear Skin laser treatment, we advise that you cease using Retinoid creams due to the sensitivity of the treatment.
We also recommend that you avoid direct sunlight and the use of fake tan for 3 days prior to the treatment.
After your Clear Skin laser treatment, avoid the use of products with active ingredients, as this may cause irritation.
We also recommend that you avoid direct sunlight for 3 days after the treatment and wear SPF 30+ products to minimise sun damage.
